Amrita Arora is a bubbly vivacious actress (?) who has yet to prove herself in the industry(the question mark is not a typo!!). She was born in Mumbai to a Punjabi father and a Malayali mother, on January 31, 1979.. Her father however succumbed to cancer when she was just 10.

Amrita Arora is a pretty 28 year old girl who stands tall at 5’5. She is the younger sister of the famous supermodel of India and a proud sexy mom Mallaika Arora. That makes her sister-in-law to Arbaaz Khan, the brother of the shirtless superstar Salman Khan. Amrita Arora’s personal life is in immersed in lot of affairs. She was previously linked to the likes of Kevin Otter, Ashmit Patel and Upen Patel. Ashmit Patel and Upen Patel were even involved in a row over her.

Actually the two dhoklas were involved in a tiff over the hot mirchi which eventally could be digested only by Usman Afzal. Usman and Amrita Arora, however make a good pair as they have gone steady for quite some time. Usman, the English cricketer regards Amrita as the Cameron Diaz of India, which is a compliment to Amrita but a dampener on Cameron. Her best friend is actress Kareena Kapoor. Amrita Arora speaks Hindi and English quite well.

Professionally
Amrita Arora's career has always been Kitne Door Kitne Pass. She has not been able to make it big…at the box office for quite a while. Kitne Door Kitne Pass was a flop. She tried her luck successfully with Awara Deewana Paagal, though she had not much to do other than say things like “no spitting here!” She rose to fame for a short time when she stirred the meters of rickshawalllas with her cheesy dance number Dilli ki Sardi from the movie Zameen.

Amrita presented Bollywood with a string of flops which are not even worth mentioning. She however starred in a controversial movie, the first desi lesbian flick ‘Girlfriend’(2004). Every year, she has successfully given disasters through out the year. While in 2006, it was Fight Club, the 2007 saw the collapse of the movie Red-The Dark Side. Red made the producers see red and the audiences were kept in the dark. There was a big controversy about a 27 minute sex scene. The audiences however preferred quality over quantity. The two forthcoming releases was Cash(high times, it makes some!) and Deha.
